I use photography as a means of self-expression, to unfold unexplored worlds. As I create a vision through the viewfinder, there's always a reminder that the image is only real to me. On the expressing of my own reality I find a deeper connection with the surroundings.
My most recent work is directly related to my experiences living by the water from early years through out my adult life. The underwater, recalls to a new plain, the parallels between the conscious and subconscious which compose reality. The Water, source of re-birth which raises awareness from the Oniric, filters through, showing a new way to re-learn our connection with reality and its possibilities. The shape of the female body, recurrent in my images, suggests an isolated intimacy with the subject. On my latest series the overlaying of landscapes and female shapes resembles a profound connection with the natural world.
